Oak Floor Resanding

A hardwood resanding project completed in Wake County, North Carolina.

The Project

This existing oak floor had visible surface wear, defects, scratches, and an aged finish. The goal was to install new wood in the living room and weave into the existing floor where needed. Then resand the entire floor and keep the stain color light enough to highlight the wood's natural color variation from board to board.

DJ's Floors installed the new wood, sanded the full floor, applied DuraSeal Weathered Oak stain and finished it with an oil-based finish.
